This Short White Korowai with Blue Taniko is perfect for graduations or other ceremonies where it provides the look of a korowai without the full length.

This korowai, or kahu huruhuru to be exact, is made by a Maori lady of Ngati Porou descent. She learned the art of making korowai from a Northland kuia.

It has a Royal Blue Turquoise Black and White knitted taniko top, with white feathers below. If you want different coloured feathers, let us know. You can choose different coloured feathers here.

The taniko has a patiki design, which spiritually means abundance, prosperity, and care of others.

This korowai measures approximately 1m wide, and 20cm (8') deep. It is lined with black fabric.
